Any news on this issue? --JózsefJároli, Fri, 11 Nov 2005 07:15:46 -0800 reply

We have came across this bug in version 0.47.0 too. IHMO it is a rather serious issue since you can invoke an error message just two clicks away from any wikipage. Would it be a difficult fix? Thanks, JózsefJároli

Added a quick hack: changed/added attributes of "pagename" input field.:

value="Please specify page name" onClick="this.value='';"

Now the pagename is pre-filled, but it's not 100% fool-proof yet: if you happen to click in the input field, but give no other page name, you can still see the zope error message later...

Have a patch for a friendlier error --betabug, Mon, 26 Nov 2007 10:15:54 -0800 reply

Have coded up a patch for a friendlier error message in this case. It would be on its way to darcs, but there are some mail problems.

patch is in darcs, closing --betabug, Fri, 21 Dec 2007 06:20:12 -0800 reply
