Apache has gone down a couple of times like this:

[Sun May 08 16:29:53 2005] [alert] (11)Resource temporarily unavailable: apr_thread_create: unable to create worker thread
[Sun May 08 16:29:56 2005] [notice] child pid 12000 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
 [Sun May 08 16:30:03 2005] [alert] Child 25505 returned a Fatal error...\nApache is exiting!
[Sun May 08 16:30:04 2005] [warn] child process 12033 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun May 08 16:30:04 2005] [warn] child process 12033 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun May 08 16:30:05 2005] [warn] child process 12033 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun May 08 16:30:09 2005] [error] child process 12033 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL

Disk space is plentiful. Could memory have become tight ? I added a 30M squeak process to the server. Logs are unclear due to #1102.

I have reduced zope's memory allowance from 230 to 200M.
