If configured, anonymous users can't edit or comment pages. They can, however, revert pages to a previous version. Reverting and editing should be treated the same.

Frank, I can't reproduce this, testing on Zope 2.9.6 and Zwiki from darcs.

Could you specify what exactly you are doing to be able to revert stuff as an anonymous user?

The anonymous revert yesterday on zwiki.org was mine.

Category: user-editing => site-zwiki.org

I believe both edit and revert are protected by the same 'Zwiki: Edit pages' permission. However edit also does the optional username check:

if not self.checkSufficientId(REQUEST):
    return self.denied(
        _("Sorry, this wiki doesn't allow anonymous edits. Please configure a username in options first."))

but revert doesn't yet. Is this what you're seeing Frank ?
