With Plone and the CMF skin for zwiki (cvs a few weeks old) I get an overlap with the right column in IE 6 (and presumably earlier). With Mozilla it just pushes the right column over. (see this example).

I don't know if this is an IE bug, perhaps a Plone bug, perhaps an error in my modifications... But I've only noticed it with ZWiki.

I experience this on my RecentChanges? page (IE 5.5, IE 6.0 ?)

I think this might be a ValidHTML or Plone issue. I've mirrored the page so it can be accessed by the http://validator.w3.org/. Because you use Plone there's a lot of XHTML-code as well.

See validation of the page: XHTML 1.0 transitional or HTML 4.01 transitional

Which version of Plone do you use?

I think I fixed this problem with my templates, see OldPloneCMFDiscussion and/or http://gewis.nl/~pieterb/zwiki/plone/

Replacing the skins with ValidHTML ones might work, see #419 XHTML compliance for zwiki_cmf skin. Please let me know if that works...

That is much better, not perfect, as the right border lines are cut off, but close enough. Everything is readable.

Thanks!

assuming 0.18's zwiki_plone skin fixes this --SimonMichael, 2003/05/06 23:41 GMT
