  1. In Zwiki 0.19.0 the problem appeared that the referrence link [] referred to the upper level it the path, not to the same page footnote. In Zwiki 0.20.0 problem still exists in the old Wiki folders. In newly created Wiki folder it is OK at the Front Page, however I/m not able to check it in Wiki subpages (see below point 2).
  2. Wiki suddenly stopped to read Wiki Names properly. The question mark refers to the upper level in the path (the same defect as mentioned above), and therefore it is impossible to create Wiki subpage in "usual Wiki" way.

The defect appeared when I refreshed the view of Wiki page just after/at the time the second User created subpage successfully by cliking question mark of the new Wiki name (this Wiki name I have typed in some minutes earlier).

(all this is after upgrading from v. 0.19.0 to 0.20.0, Win 98, Zope 2.6.1 (binary release, python 2.1, win32-x86), Plone 1.0.3)

Base href of wiki page in Plone refers to the upper level; so in point 1. above it refers to the name of wiki folder not to Front Page. I calimed the same few days ago to the Plone bugtracker, without effect until now.

Precisely, as to point 2 --Samotnik, 2003/07/06 11:40 GMT reply
I even created new test Plone, and both defects still exist. More precisely as to point 2. The link from question mark at the wiki name seems to be proper:

http://localhost:8080/testsite/discussions/Wiki_Folder.2003-07-06.2004/FrontPage/editform?page=NewSubpage, but new page is not generated.

Addition to point 2 --Samotnik, 2003/07/07 23:31 GMT reply
Clicking question mark besides new Wiki name (NewSubpage?) opens the edit textarea filled with te contents of the page, in which NewSubpage? name was created. By accident I saved it, and NewSubpage? WAS created, filled with this content. Of course among backlinks it is a link to self, because this name is conained in the text.

Addition to all points -- 2003/07/10 01:41 GMT reply
I'm having the same problem - a CamelCase word that isn't already indexed (is new) shows a question mark as it should but opening the question mark opens the existing page and name. The new page is created however and can be accessed by changing the name of the page. It makes for a messy system for new users!

In version 0.21.0. still the same problem --Samotnik, 2003/07/27 10:31 GMT reply
All my other problems disappeared in v. 0.21.0, thanks. As to the referecne footnotes:

same prob with PurpleNumbers links --FlorianKonnertz, 2003/07/27 13:04 GMT reply
What's the solution for this?? Plone creates the base URL, doesn't it? Use portal_url for this? - I have this prob with the PurpleNumbers links. See NooWiki:FrontPage

same prob with PurpleNumbers links --Samotnik, 2003/07/27 18:32 GMT reply
Yes, however I'm not sure if it is using portal_url. It made also a probloem with Document type. I solved it using the solution proposed in plone.org bugtrack (collector):

issue No 1242, Comment - Entry #4 by plonefi on Jun 10, 2003 8:40 pm

However, I think it is not a proper solution - it removes effect, not a cause. So, it is not effective for Zwiki.

The base URL for Zwiki page in my case is: base href="http://localhost:8080/mysite/myfolder/TestWiki/" / (within tag), despite there is ...TestWiki?/NewSubpage?

I reported the problem in plone.org collector, Issue #1309, and still waiting for advice.

In version 0.21.0. still the same problem --SimonMichael, 2003/07/29 00:57 GMT reply
Ah, I see what you mean. I forgot STX had footnotes. This is an annoying CMF/Plone "feature", isn't it ? (Mozilla seems to handle those links despite their brokenness). I believe the fix is to change ZWikiPage.py line 1123:

            return '<a href="#ref%s" title="footnote %s">[%s]</a>' % (m,m,m)

to:

            return '<a href="%s#ref%s" title="footnote %s">[%s]</a>' % \
                   (self.page_url(),m,m,m)

I've checked in a similar fix for comment headings and purple numbers and will make another release. Thanks!

fixed for 0.21 --SimonMichael, 2003/07/29 00:59 GMT reply

In version 0.21.0. still the same problem --unknown, Fri, 22 Aug 2003 10:39:33 +0000 reply
Prepending the URL fixes the problem for ZWikis? inside Plone, but not for other Plone features such as StructuredText documents. As already mentioned above, the incorrect use of the base tag in Plone causes the problem, which can be fixed as I have described here. With a proper base tag, Symptoms are gone, but actual problem still exists --unknown, Fri, 22 Aug 2003 10:41:01 +0000 reply

Thank You, Andreas --Samotnik, Fri, 22 Aug 2003 12:09:38 +0000 reply
Now Document type with Structured Text is working OK, and the links in Zwiki also, even after returning to the original line 1123 in ZWikiPage.py indicated above. PurpleNumbers as links are working properly, despite only a problem of double notation of comments (caused probably by the notation of time zone, which I mentioned in the discussion about PurpleNumbers - I still have Zwiki v. 0.21.0rc1 and don't know if it is solved finally later on).
