Does that inconsistency bother anyone besides me? --BillSeitz, 2003/07/24 22:23 GMT reply
It worries me...

Title: 'IssueNo0559? Links with $ don't render (if hidden behind label)' => 'IssueNo0559? structured text links can't contain a $'

doesn't bother me much --SimonMichael, 2003/07/24 23:29 GMT reply
I see what you mean now.. it doesn't bother me much, it's just a limitation of structured text. If someone can submit a stx patch to zope, or a workaround to zwiki, great, if not plenty else to worry about..

where to look in StructuredText? --BillSeitz, Thu, 04 Sep 2003 13:38:13 -0700 reply
Any idea which file to look in? There seems to be stuff all over the place in there? in DocumentClass?? ClassicStructuredText??

Yes, the place seems to be DocumentClass?.doc_href1() and doc_href2() in StructuredText/DocumentClass?.py. See the two _URL regexps right above.

This is subclassed by DocumentWithImages?, which in turn we subclass as myDocumentWithImages in Zwiki/Utils.py. So Zwiki could override it there (and document this difference on one of the StructuredText pages). But it would be better to get the fix into the standard STX code. I would next search http://collector.zope.org/Zope and the cvs history at http://cvs.zope.org to see if there's some reason this (reasonably obvious) fix was rejected in the past.
