I remember in some ZWiki Version (I think ~0.24) there has been another represention of the wikipage hierachy (see picture).

Has this representation been removed or is it possible to switch back to this representation (save a lot of vertical space in long hierachies) ?

Best Regards,

Nice diagram. I don't know about the line break you show, but yes the horizontal layout might be still in wikipage_macros (commented out), and/or is it used in zwiki_plone ? I forget. If not in either of those places you'll find it at WikipageX.

I like the space efficiency (at least for short page names) but I've stuck with the first one so far as I think it communicates the hierarchy/outline structure better.

Yes! I remember someone coded it up in one of the "skins"/customizable CSS.

It worked OK, was seperted by '::' , and sputtered a bit on multiple parents.

This is one of those features I've gotten a few requests for ("that would be nice..." category).

found the code in

Code snippet (at the beginning):

<html xmlns="" xml:lang="en-US" lang="en-US"
    macros      python: here.wikipage_macros(request).macros;
    displaymode python: here.displayMode();
    minimal     python: displaymode=='minimal';
    simple      python: displaymode=='simple';
    full        python: displaymode=='full';
    hierarchy   python: request.get('zwiki_showhierarchy',0);
    linearhdr   python: 0 #displaymode=='full';

just change

'linearhdr python: 0'

'linearhdr python: 1'

and the "new" hierachy is active

found in code - feature still implemented in zwiki 0.32 --ArnoPucher, Wed, 01 Sep 2004 08:18:44 -0700 reply
