Canonical are offering $200 to have the latest ZWiki support full MoinMoin wiki markup, including tables. To collect the bounty, I should to be able to upgrade ZWiki on a Plone site, and be able to switch pages to use moinmoin-style, then copy over pages from an existing moin wiki. These copied-over pages should render acceptably in ZWiki. This bounty is available until 11 October 2004. (GoldOffer)

I've begun this by making Chad Miller's MoinMoinMarkup a page type in 0.35. If someone can deliver the rest (tables, migration, testing) before I do, feel free to do so and claim some of the bounty..

I replaced the old moin markup code with real MoinMoin code (based on 1.3b2), modified to run in Zwiki. It should be handling basic markup and tables pretty well now.

what next ? --simon, Sat, 23 Oct 2004 00:02:28 -0700 reply

Steve, when you get a chance give this a whirl. It's in darcs if you want to pull and try it with your local content.

I'll try and apply some of the moin styles, unless you don't care about that.

I styled the pre background and table borders like moin's. There have been a number of fixes, disabling unsupported tags and making utf-8 support, arising from testing on the ubuntu wiki.

This bounty, along with #933, has been paid. Thanks Canonical and Steve Alexander; I and I'm sure the Zwiki community appreciate it.
