there seems to be a bug in the change to the mailhost check introduced with

Thu Nov 25 05:13:24 Westeuropõische Normalzeit 2004
  • we no longer require the mailhost id to be MailHost, but isMailoutEnabled which controlled the skin link did

everything is fine if you have a MailHost object in your zwiki folder, but if there is none, you get an

AttributeError? in

Module Products.ZWiki.Mail, line 578, in mailhost

and that for every page (and then its returned as an incomplete html page only containing a table, no html/head/body tags, which gets rendered as an extremely wide and blank page in opera... thats why the severity is critical :)

the offending line reads:

mhosts = folder.objectValues(spec='Mail Host')

(thats the code that now gets called by the above change, I suppose there is some "try, except" missing or something. i dont know why objectValues gives an AttributeError? if there is no matching object???)

this is with zwiki freshly pulled just now, and zope 2.7 on windows.

to reproduce just call a zwiki-page that has no MailHost object in its folder.

I don't know either. I'm looking at it periodically, it's hard to reproduce.

fix applied for 0.37 --simon, Sun, 02 Jan 2005 14:28:58 -0800 reply
