Pardon our dust.. there have been some confusing issues with the site lately. #1358 is probably behind much of it. I have just updated the catalog to remove a phantom 1358 issue, and I will now fix the key error that's occuring on 1358 and 1359.

Phew! The phrase "all hell breaking loose" came to mind. The issue tracker and site is all straightened out now, and for the moment I'm not seeing more #1358 errors after turning off ZEO. I hope it stays away.

allow question marks in wiki names --val.cartei, Fri, 08 Jun 2007 06:59:28 -0700 reply

Hi, I noticed that if a try to name a page with a question mark, say "What is Wiki?", the system doesn't allow me to because of the question mark. How can I change that? I really hope you can help me! Cheers, Val

Hello Val, this works fine for me at http://zwiki.org/TestPage . See if you can reproduce it there, perhaps by changing page type ? Also be sure you're not running some ancient zwiki version.

email out customization --val, Mon, 25 Jun 2007 03:32:53 -0700 reply

I'd like to customize the message that is sent to the subscribers to all edits of wiki pages. Currently they get the changes of the page they are subscribed to, but i would like to replace this with the following: user name (or anonymous if unknown user) has made changes to the [page title]? to see what's changed go to:

"[page URL]?/diff" (displayed as a link)

Is it possible to do this? Cheers, Val P.S. Thanks for the question marks answer, I found the bug and it was related to a previous customization I had made.

Val - sure, but you'll have to edit python code. See the call to send mail at the end of handleEditText in Editing.py.

catalog problem --magwas, Fri, 29 Jun 2007 07:36:08 -0700 reply

I am using BlogFace with my wiki, which uses the zCatalog of the wiki. I noticed that sometimes new pages does not show up in the catalog. Even after doing a find by hand on the catalog. I do not know whether it is a zwiki or a zCatalog problem. Any solutions? Hi - set your event.log verbosity to BLATHER (http://wiki.zope.org/zope2/event.log) and watch it as you create pages. If cataloging fails you should get a traceback. Also check zwiki's recent changes to see if the page really has been cataloged or not.
