About the mystics of TextBoxes?.

One way to do it:

 <textarea onfocus="if (this.value=='Enter comment here') {this.value='';}">Enter comment here</textarea>

had to use &quot; in that as wiki seems to replace single quotes inside HTML tags :o(

Hey, I like this.

That would be way cool. :)

Hmmmmmmm,

Who are the people with CVS commit access/priviledges?

SimonMichael, 2002/11/14 19:20 GMT (via web):
I added a note to CVSRepository.

This is neat but I'm not yet sure it's the right default behaviour for zwiki. One argument against: this still adds some visual/mental clutter because (a) it's on the screen, more text to scan and (b) you don't know it's going to disappear, so you try to select & delete it, you assume it's going to fill your X clipboard, etc.

FlorianKonnertz, 2002/11/15 09:37 GMT (via web):
Oh, yes - you don't know it's going to disappear - I forgot about this. When i use text boxes with an Enter your name blah here I always select the text and delete it manually, because i don't know if it's one of those MysticalTextBoxes. - So i'd prefer an empty box.

What about a line You may enter a comment above. below the box, aligned left. There's space and it shares the row with the checkbox and the submit button.
