I am running ZWiki 0.45 within Plone 2.1 final in Zope 2.8.1. The subscription tab does not appear. I don't seem to be able to force it either. The only skins available are Plone Default and Plone Tables. (I have the Plone Default skin enabled).

I Have 4 Properties Set --Wed, 21 Sep 2005 16:26:07 -0700 reply

I have the mail_replyto, mailout_policy, mailsubject_prefix and Default_page properties created for the zWiki folder or instance. I even placed someone in the subscriber_list. Still no go.

Severity: normal => serious

Hi.. I set up a brand new plone site and followed HowToSetUpMailOut. When I added the mail_replyto property the wiki page's subscribe tab appeared. What about point 2 on the how-to ?

Also check that your Zwiki installation is up to date in plone setup -> add/remove products, or uninstall/reinstall it to see if it makes a difference.

Problem Solved --Fri, 23 Sep 2005 06:07:52 -0700 reply

The problem is with my installation. I have installed zWiki inside a plone site and the problem has to do with the way that it is installed. The zWiki Product folder is inside the Products folder. Lets say I start by creating a Plone site called PloneSite?. Then inside this site, using the ZMI interface, I see that I can create two zWiki related things, a zWiki and a zWiki Page.

I then create a series of zWiki's and name them Wkik-01, then create another wiki called wiki-02, etc. Before leaving the ZMI, I add the properties mail_replyto, etc on the two folders wiki-01, wiki-02. Then I go into the Plone site and using the site setup, install zWiki. I bouse the Zope server, just to make sure everything is updated, and return to the wiki using the address plonesite/wiki-01 for instance and - no subscribe tab.

Now, there is a Mailhost sitting within PloneSite?. BUt? it turns out that I have to install another Mailhost inside of each wiki folder, that is wiki-01, wiki-02, etc. Each needs their own Mailhost installation. I returned to the ZMI interface and created another Mailhost and - voila - by "subscribe" tab appeared.

The reason why I did not see have problem before was because with my first install of zWiki, I did not create a folder wiki-01, I simply started creating wiki pages within the PloneSite?. So zwiki "sees" the Mailhost associated with that PloneSite?.

I need to be able to create multiple wikis within a single Plone site. The moral of this story is, if you do, then you need to create a Mailhost inside of each of those wiki folders as well.
