Simon, thanks for the report. Please tell us more. Note Zwiki in Plone does not yet support Kupu, although it should be possible to configure Epoz as a stopgap.

To make WYSIWYG work with Epoz --nd51, Mon, 16 Oct 2006 02:24:03 -0700 reply

I've had Epoz 2.0.2 in my Zope Products directory for ages now, and using it to edit html Wiki pages within Plone works fine whether browsing from IE or Firefox on Windows, or Firefox on Linux. This is however with 2.1.x of Plone.

Maybe you can try getting Epoz 2.0.2 and putting it in your products directory. (Note, let Zope pick it up but do not install it as a product in Plone's Add/Remove products or you might break kupu, which is used for all other WYSIWYG editing in Plone)

If there are still problems after that it would imply something changed in Plone 2.5 that broke Epoz. From my experimentation so far with 2.5 this seems unlikely.

However, it is true that it'd be good if ZWiki did start using Kupu, to say goodbye to such issues.

It works --simon, Tue, 17 Oct 2006 08:21:42 -0700 reply

Thank a lot for the tip

I have the same problem too. I have Zope 2.9.2 and Plone 2.5.2. Epoz 0.8.5 worked great, but after I upgraded to Epoz 2.0.2, I cannot edit with Firefox/Linux. With Firefox/Windows, it works fine. With Firefox/Linux, I cannot click inside the editable text area. I don't get the curson within the textarea when I click. I am reverting to Epoz 0.8.5 as a work-around. This was tested with Zwiki 0.55 and 0.58. Thanks.

There is a stand alone FCKeditor? for Zope,, wonder if we can rework a bit to use it.
