I get the following site error when I try to rename pages from the wikipage_footer. Reparent works fine. I can rename the pages with the management interface from the same userid.

Any ideas?

It's not even getting to the zwiki rename code. I suspect a problem with the form in your standard_wiki_footer or wikipage template.

what to do --SimonMichael, 2003/04/14 17:15 GMT
In other words, double-check your customizations there, or remove the custom standard_wiki_footer or wikipage from your wiki folder and see if it works.

Some feedback --2003/04/27 11:54 GMT
I checked, but I didn't make any changes near the rename code.

I'm running this wiki under CMF so my site follows the CMF page building mechanism, not the standard wiki one. I have a a Page Template called main_template but my wikipage_header and wikipage_footer files are both DTML - copies of the standard_wiki_header and standard_wiki_footer dtml files from the ...skins/default path. I needed to do this because I want to expose the page rename/reparent and the add a subject dialogues which only exist here. Could this be the cause of the rename failure?

Yes.. the things in default/ aren't designed to work in CMF (without some work). The extra bits (mainly the page management form in default/ need to be added to zwiki_plone/ and made to work there.

Ah, I see it's not in - that form still needs to be converted to TAL. You could bug limi to do it, or fund it or wait a bit longer.. cheers.

JohnKnutson writes: In UpgradeGuide?, ArnoPucher found a similar problem. I changed the <input> statement to use pagename not newid as he suggested and the rename started to work again. I know that this footer has gone away in 0.20, so I suppose my local fix is all I need. Thanks Arno.
