Is there anyway to extract wiki pages in wikifolder in plone and provide the html export? This is essential functionality for offline usage. See, if you lauch an documentation project with several users's collaboration, and use use a plone folder to hold all the wiki pages, after the project finished, you want an published manual packaged in Html files , this is the idea to do that.

I'm willing to coding this, but I need somebody to give me a clue. Can it done by ZPT?

We want this functionality too, so I strongly encourage you to do it! I suppose one could start from the XML export ?

Severity: normal => wishlist

curl, wget, etc. are what you use for this --betabug, Sun, 05 Aug 2007 06:28:59 -0700 reply
Creating HTML is a function that Zope does and the simplest approach to get the html is through the front door. Download the contents of the pages in question with curl, wget or a similar tool.

It's wget --spider or --mirror or something.

To get the page content without less of the zwiki skin, you would need to make a list of page urls with ``?bare=1`` added, and spider this. We should make a pythonscript or zwiki method to generate it.

Also there is a plone tool somewhere on that converts zwiki pages to plone documents - maybe there are other ways to convert/dump those.

PS the wiki contents is a quick way to get a list of pages.
