I create now the RecentChanges? modification RecentChangesAsTable?, which displays the RecentChanges? as a table with alternated colored lines similar to the ZMI. See RecentChangesAsTableDiscussion? or GeneralDiscussion to ask or comment on it.

I couldn't create the page, it throws many errors. I guess it's because of the different enviromment at zwiki.org then mine at home!?? I guess you have to do it, Simon or DeanG etc., right?

I get a complete list of RCs? in the moment with that link...

But why do you want to list a limited number of RCs?? Because of speed? - Anyway i think it's a good idea! - FloK

2002/10/19 22:07 GMT (via web):
Well, the URL was wrong, (now fixed), and the code was wrong from my experiment (now fixed).

Why? Speed is the main one (query+download) and it's a start at learning how to produce a recent changes that breaks it up by day, week, etc.

Also, check out WikiBadges for another angle on word indexing.

Ok. - Yes i experience with WikiBadges already, it's quite useful. - Thanks --FloK

DeanG: The RecentChangesNG? is much faster. How does it work? I'd like to combine it with RecentChangesAsTable?. - Let's discuss this on RecentChangesNGDiscussion?, ok?

Thanks for explaining, DeanG. --FloK, 1021

CSS extremists have been able to use CSS instead of tables, which may speed up your RecentChagnesAsTable? code. Search on google "CSS Tables" found this: http://glish.com/css/

Still pondering LinkDatabase , but saw some light today when I felt like suggesting a new wiki badge of DeadLink?

Hey!! ZWiki is sooooooo COOOOOOOOL!!! - Unbelievable! Insane! The best thing I've ever seen. WOW!!! - Everything goes wiki, all notes find their place and are to be found again in seconds and minimum five mouseclicks. YEAH!! :-) -- My NooWiki exceeded the 500pages these days and it's still growing fast. HipHipHurray? for wiki and ZWiki especially! :-)

minimum five mouseclicks. should read maximum five mouseclicke of course. Sorry! --FloK

FloK- Got an idea for another ZwikiRecipe? that you may have solved: Create a link that translates this page to ___. It may be little more than the babelfish URL w/ & dtml-var URL[0]?; appended in there.. but wanted to jot the note while I was thinking about it.

Hi Florian! Als ich das erste Mal ins Zwiki Web gekommen bin und ich deine Seite gesehen habe, hat mir das sehr gefallen und deshalb hat mich deine Nachricht sehr gefreut.Lg Astrid-Begabtengruppe

FlorianKonnertz, 2002/12/20 10:26 GMT (via web):

It's much fun for me to work for zwiki and NooWiki. - I haven't done very much the two weeks before which because i wrote a few applications for a job and because my girlfriend hasn't let me out of the bed very often during the holidays;-)

It's nice to be back again! Greetings to you all!

I like to add content to TurnkeyZwikiDiscussion, DTMLCookbook. I want to order all ZwikiModifications. I need help with WikiTemplates: How to create a set? And much, much more...

Do you want to guide me a little bit and contribute to REALLY COOl? documentation?

tav, 2003/01/18 08:04 GMT (via web):

note about my current work --FlorianKonnertz, 2003/02/15 13:18 GMT
Just a note about my current work: Learning [ZPT]?; changing all modifications to ZPT; practicing WikiWeblogging? and having much fun with it; SubWikiToParentWikiWeblogging? is great; started the AlternativeZopeAllianz? (german Zope docu, introducing Zope for (society-related) alternative projects); migrating NooWiki to a new server; and.... having so much fun with ZWiki :-) Yep. :-)

Greetings to all!

Ok,thanks Dean, (i forgot to do so).

interest: wiki and topicmaps --FlorianKonnertz, 2003/03/03 11:38 GMT
FYI: Currently I'm thinking of using TopicMaps? for wikis: How to allow users to define their personal view of a wiki, ie. use their own ZwikiHierarchy?. Investigating ZTM, XTM; - Cheers, Florian
